Data Quality – Updated Listing and Counts

We’re excited to announce upcoming updates designed to enhance your experience on Novade Enterprise! These changes will be rolled out this Wednesday, June 12th, 2024.

What’s changing:

Live data display: Say goodbye to outdated information! Only live, active data will be displayed on relevant Novade pages and tabs. This ensures you’re working with the most current information for better decision-making.
Accurate counts: Tab counts will now exclude archived data, providing a consistent and reliable representation of your active records.

However, rest assured that you will still be able to see the total counts of the data, including archived data, in the Overview and dashboard of each Quality object.

Benefits for you:

Faster performance: By limiting queries on archived data, we’re reducing system load, resulting in a more responsive and efficient Novade.
Accurate and current information: Live data will be displayed on relevant pages and tabs, ensuring you always have the most up-to-date information at your fingertips. Archived data will no longer be included in counts or displayed in help texts, providing a clear and concise view of your active records.

What is archived data?

Novade offers a data archival system to optimise storage and performance where inactive or completed records are moved from the main database to a separate archive. This archived data is still readily retrievable if needed, but it will not clutter your active database or slow down the system.

These changes will be implemented first on Novade Quality, followed by Novade Safety-HSE in the coming weeks.
